IMH is actively involved in landscaping urban spaces. Enterprises purchase seedlings of trees and shrubs as part of their own programmes for landscaping the territories of sanitary protection zones and land restoration, as well as part of international and all-Russian campaigns.
In 2021, IMH employees joined the Garden of Memory campaign and planted over 500 trees, just like the year before. Koks employees and veterans also planted trees in the Newlyweds Garden in the Rudnichny District of Kemerovo. IMH-Coal employees planted an alley of pine and rowan trees in the capital of Kuzbass. Employees of IMH enterprises in Tula planted a linden alley in memory of those who died during the Great Patriotic War.
In autumn 2021, veterans and young professionals from IMH companies in Tula took part in the Green Oak Tree campaign to restore the historical landscape of the Museum-Reserve "Kulikovo Field" in Kimovsk district of Tula region. A total of 7,500 young oak trees were planted at the museum-reserve.
In Kiselevsk, Kemerovo Region, Uchastok Koksovy open pit financed the improvement of the town's main square; in 2021, fountains were repaired and blue spruces were planted on funds provided by the coal miners. Previously, the IMH coal mining company financed the creation of an architectural design for a municipal park in the Krasny Kamen area.
