Graduated from the Krasnoyarsk Institute of Non-Ferrous Metals named after M.I. Kalinin with a degree in Technology and Complex Mechanization of Underground Mining of Mineral Deposits, qualification Mining Engineer.
Alexander Pleshkov started his career in 1986 as a borehole driller at the Zyryanovsky lead plant.
From 1987, he worked in the Bamtonnelstroy Construction Department, where he held the position of a shift engineer, and in 1988 was appointed a mining foreman.
From 1991 to 1995, he worked at the Zyryanovsky Special Mine Construction Department of the Svinetsshakhtostroy trust, where he worked his way up from a tunneller to the head of an underground mining site.
In 1995, he worked as a mining foreman at Kineshmastroymaterialy LLC. In 1996 he was transferred to the position of chief engineer.
In 2001, A.Pleshkov was appointed an apprentice shaft timberman at Gubkin mine, and then transferred to the position of a timberman. In the period from 2002 to 2005, he worked as a mining foreman at Gubkin mine.
From 2005 to 2015, he worked as Deputy Chief Technology Engineer at Gubkin mine. In 2015, he was transferred to the position of Deputy Chief Production Engineer at Gubkin mine, and in 2017, he was appointed Deputy Head of the Capital Construction Department for construction and assembly works. Since 2018, he worked as Deputy Chief for Mining Operations, and in 2019, he was appointed Deputy Chief Engineer for Technology and Prospective Development.
In September 2020, A.Pleshkov has been appointed Managing Director of Kombinat KMAruda JSC.
Kombinat KMAruda, JSC, a part of Industrial Metallurgical Holding (IMH), has successfully passed an audit of the integrated management system for compliance with ISO 45001:2018 (Occupational health and safety management systems) and ISO 50001:2018 (Energy management systems). The company received these certificates for the first time.
